Richard Van Valkenburgh

Van Valkenburgh & Wilkinson Properties, Inc. (V V & W), a locally owned and operated real estate firm, specializes in fine homes and historic properties throughout North Alabama. They also handle special smaller homes and commercial properties in the downtown and central city areas. V V & W was established by Richard P. Van Valkenburgh and his wife, Nancy Wilkinson Van Valkenburgh in Huntsville, Alabama in October of 1985 to serve the needs of Huntsville/Madison County's unique historic and space age community.

The two principals of the firm have more than 59 years of real estate experience between them, and with the entrance of two of their three daughters into the firm as REALTORS , professional service has now extended into the second generation of the family within the business. The founders have ties to the earliest business life of the community dating to the 1810's , as well as to the space age growth of the 1960's. They are committed to leading V V & W into service of the community now and in the 21st century.
